Answers: A, C

  • A. Right: Correct. Foundation models are general purpose, so one model can draft copy, summarise and brainstorm.
  • B. Wrong: Generative AI can hallucinate. Its output needs checking, especially for facts and claims.
  • C. Right: Correct. The ability to generate content fast in response to a prompt is a core advantage.
  • D. Wrong: Generative AI is usually nondeterministic. The same prompt can produce different responses.
  • E. Wrong: Large models have limited interpretability. It is hard to explain exactly why they produced an output.

Explanation

The exam guide lists adaptability, responsiveness, conversational ability and content generation as advantages of generative AI. It lists hallucination, inaccuracy, nondeterminism and poor interpretability as disadvantages. A good business case uses the advantages while putting checks in place for the drawbacks.
